Easy PLU Buttons

- PLU Buttons can be setup as 'Pages' that link to more PLU buttons, allowing a Menu 'Drill Down' where many different buttons are required. e.g. Produce/Apples/Granny Smiths or Produce/Oranges/Valencia.
- Each PLU can be linked to a deposit, and/or a fee, and/or an additional PLU.
- Linked PLUs can be made an option on the sale.

- Designated, sensitive items, such as cigarettes and alcohol, can be forced to display a quick, ID entry screen, before a sale of the product can go forward.

- Automatic 'Check ID' function from Driver's License or other magnetic swipe based ID cards - (limited to specified localities).

Mixmatch/LQD/Quantity Discounts
|

- Items in the same 'Mixmatch' group (price group) can be deal priced on specified quantities. (e.g. 99c each or 3 for $1.97)
- Items can be put on sale with a a Limited Quantity Discount (LQD). (e.g. First one sells for $1.99, the rest sell for $3.99 each.)
- Items can have one price when sold below a certain quantity and another when sold over that quantity.(e.g. Purchases of 11 or under sells for $2.50 each, 12 and over sell for $2.25 each.)

Alternate Level Pricing

|
- A lane can be set to sell at a certain predefined discount level (5 levels available) for any item, or default to a level for all sales.
- Price Levels are selectable on the fly within a sale, before or after the item sells.
- Lanes can be locked into a Price Level on the fly.
- Price Levels can be set and maintained by Department.
- Price Levels 'shift' function available.
- Levels can be controlled by an an automatic, hourly schedule, requiring no cashier intervention.(Happy Hour type pricing)
- Items Sold on Price levels are protected from discounts.

Office Redundant Operations

- All lanes are fully independant of the Back Office computer at all times.
- This functionality allows the Back Office software to reside on a laptop or remote site where communications are only periodically initiated by the user.
* In the event of network communications failure:
- All sales data is retained on each Lane indefinitely
- Each Lane refers to its own database for product sales and customer information.
This data is effective as of the last communications event from the back office.
- Emergency Price maintenance can be performed on each lane.
- Credit Card Authorizations can be voice authorized and retained on the Lane until the communications are re-established.
- Customer Account Totals and Stock on Hand totals are updated when the next successful communications event occurs.
